Splash of colours

 


A colour has a language of it's own. There are people who love warm colours (red,orange and yellow), then there are ones who love the cool ones(blue, green and purple). As for me, I am elated by a splash of any colour. I like white for the feeling of purity and innocence it provides, green for the feeling of healing, balance and good health.I have a liking for blue in particular as it brings along a sense of calmness, serenity, loyalty and truth. 



Talking about purple..hmm..Wait a minute! Would you say it is fierce or do you think it signifies calm.Well, I would say both. It is a combination of red and blue afterall. Purple is a colour of rare occurrence in nature. Thus, for ages, it has been a symbol of royalty and luxury. Brown.What do you think of Brown? As I see it, brown is a lovely, natural,neutral one. Being the colour of earth it evokes a sense of being nurtured and comforted.


 I love lavender, too, in particular. I love it for the sense of grace and elegance it brings along. Authority. Strength. Power. Like it? Want it? Black gives you that, the strongest one in the colour spectrum. 


Like I said before, colours have a language of their own. They set our moods. Yellow breeds happiness. Red symbolizes love. Every colour is different. They have their own importance. I would encourage to embrace all of them, the vibrant ones, the elegant ones, the neutral ones, the royal and the pure ones. Only then you can experience life as it is. Life, afterall is a rainbow..🌈 !!

My love for libraries

My earliest memories of a library is of course that of my school library. I remember it to be very spacious, well stocked with books and with lots of natural light streaming in. My favorite place in the library was in a corner near a big window overlooking the biggest field of our school. This was the place where I would go, sit and spend an hour of our weekly library period. That weekly library period used to be such a treat for me. I loved spending time reading a book enjoying the silence, the smell, the light. I viewed my school library as a fortress which had rows and rows of books inside it. Rows and rows of books that held the capacity to fuel my imagination.
